College Baseball to Start in March?

Although I like it as a fan, I wouldn’t want to play for school in north as they may be playing in snow unless all games in March and April are played in warmer climates.

Dumb question but dosen't starting the season later make that less likely. Baseball starts in February now.

If this is still bad enough in february to delay the start then how will a 1 month delay help anything?

i just looked up Ann Arbor’s averages.
21” of snow in Average February
6” of snow in Average March
pretty big difference actually.

From a tournament prospective (conference, regional, super, CWS) afternoon games will be brutal pushed out a month. I’m from Omaha and this would not be received well at all from the locals.
