This.

All any president is called on to do is to protect and defend the constitution and execute the law. He doesn’t have to believe everything I do.

Yes. He receives spiritual direction nearly weekly by a well known evangelical pastor. I won’t names names but the pastor is a national name in the Evangelical community.

Well consider his track record and you can decide for yourself. He doesn't go to church, but he professes his love for the church as he backs a lot of their policies. Now he's fighting for church's to be classified as essential services. He's now pro-life when in 1999 he said in an interview he's very pro-choice. LINK. DJT isn't very moral in his business dealings. He's a billionaire but, on his ways up he's screwed over hundreds of smaller businesses LINK LINK. Trump hasn't been very faithful in his marriages either. He's cheated on all of his wives, including his current one, paying off pornstars and playboy models. So Trump can say he's a religious Christian but he doesn't exactly walk the walk.

Has he ever said that? Or are you just assaulting a straw man?

I wouldn't say he is personally "religious".

But I would say he is very respectful of religion.

I’d say he’s a proponent of the first amendment. I have no illusions about his lack of walk with Christ.

He’s extremely pro life and advocates for the majority of conservative Christian principles outside of gay marriage and that’s pretty much a non issue because of Obergefell.

Even in that, he’s handled most of those things how I would. Gay people deserve divinity and respect but I’m not doing anything to give them an advantage or make them a protected class.

Nope not at all. But he has their back and gave us two pro-life judges.

Cultural Christian at best. I don't think he's ever claimed to be serious about his faith.

He strikes me as the type that would never publicly discuss it. Something like his faith sounds too personal for him to go into in an interview, imo.

Who exactly is, "good at it"?

Doesn't matter. God uses imperfect men for His perfect plan's purpose.

If that's what caused the bloodiest century in human history why is the same thing not happening in secular countries today?

Probably because it was communism and not secularism.

But please tell me more about your wishy washy unstable worldview.

Let's skip to the end.

Did God choose his nature or not?

If he did morality is simply whatever he chose and would be different if he chose differently (not objective)

If he didn't then morality is outside of your God.

You're in the same boat as atheists, you're just not smart enough to realize it.

Is your heart doctor religious? Does it matter?

BTW, he's more religious now than when he was elected. A lot are...for obvious reasons. The potential for imminent death...at the fore.

Trump is a perfect fit for American Christians because 99% of them aren't real Christians either.

He is religious in the way that I am religious = know there is a Superior Being behind this awesome universe but not evangelical about any specific protocols for worshiping that Being.

I am OK with any form of recognition and adherence to that understanding - I draw the line when some particular protocol abandons the common desire of being 'good' in pursuit of enforcing their particular practice onto others = e.g. modern Islamists - or Catholics during the inquisition
