Played Gus Wortham today in Houston. Had only played it once when it was a goat ranch. Fun layout with a really tough stretch of holes 4-7. Thy had metal cups about 3” above the ground so the rule was you just had to touch it for it to count..which obviously makes the hole bigger. No removing flag sticks, no bunker rakes..other than that it was all good.

The HGA no longer manages Memorial Park, so it’s different management and different decision makers.

Yeah I think the city sold Wortham or something so they can’t shut it down. Not sure how it’s deemed as “essential” but whatever I’m glad they are open. Next two days are gonna be nice I’m gonna play again.
