Refinishing oak hardwood floors and we had house cleaners come by. Explicitly told them not to touch anything in the area of the hardwood. Welp they got some soap/detergent stains in the sanded, unsealed wood. Is there any way to get this out without ruining the wood?

Go on Reddit and join the hardwood flooring group and ask on there. I see people asking what to use to remove stains on there often.

More sanding is the only way I know. Did the area dry out all the way?

Hydrogen peroxide can get soap stains off fabric and other materials. Never tried it on wood though

Try diluting it with water and keep vacuuming it as you wipe. How big of an area is it?

Eh it started as a small area but they tried to clean it and basically just spread it to a 2’x3’ area
