I tried to tell that smartass LCA and Hagit this the other day and got chastised.

143,548 Cases which had an outcome:

121,214 (84%) Recovered / Discharged

22,334 (16%) Deaths

I actually said 80% of the people that get the virus will recover

India with 694

I work with folks in India. They did not mess around, when they had their first infections, they shut down public transportation and told people to go home and not leave their homes.

They likley don't give a shite if the number are accurate, honestly. They are not going to do anything to treat those people.

Yeah, but one rush-hour train station in India would result in like 300,000 infections. Who knows how many spread it before the shut down.

It's probably from lack of testing. My hangover symptoms are similar to COVID, but I just automatically blame it on the booze and take a few more shots.

This is at the bottom....

It doesn’t include all cases
Confirmed cases aren’t all cases. They only include people who tested positive.

I don't understand this...

Never mind. I get it now.

A guy I work with is moving there and has family there. I have no opinion on the claimed numbers but India is not facking around from everything he has heard. They have a 3 week stay at home order which seems nearly impossible to anyone who has been there.
