I hope everyone here is just sweet as molasses to them before the game and just absolute dicks to them in the stadium. They really were the worst fans I've ever been around and that includes Georgia fans.

The ONE thing I would absolutely love for us to do would be to wait until week 2 to have our national championship ceremony and just go balls to the fricking walls with it. Im talking stuff throughout the day at different parts of campus, stuff pregame (like have Burrow there and introduce him), then devote the entire halftime performance to dropping the banner, showing highlights (3rd & 17 on a fricking loop for all I care, awards, and the hype videos) and just rubbing their faces all over it.
Thats what Id like to see. A day where they just have to soak in LSUs greatness.

This game kinda worried me earlier. Texas has a lot of talent coming back, a 3-year-starter at QB, and we will be breaking in a ton of new personnel and coaches. I thought we’d wind up being good, but UT could catch us early. But with all this nonsense, the drive Orgeron has to keep sticking it to Herman, and the fact that this will be the 1st huge sporting event on LSU’s campus in several months due to Corona (I know we host a cupcake the week before), and I think it could turn into a 2007 Virginia Tech situation.
There was just something—some kind of palpable energy in the stadium that night—that you feel even before kickoff. I took my buddy to his 1st game in Tiger Stadium that night, and before kickoff, I told him VT had absolutely no chance. You could just feel it. The crowd would not allow it. And it was maybe the most dominant game LSU had ever played against a good team until last year. UT may have a similar feel.

I don’t want to rain on the thread, but the Longhorns played us very tough and should be better/healthier/deeper this September. Make all the tea sipper jokes you want, but it’s likely to be an Auburn/Florida level game and we are going to have to bring our A game to win.
Imho, All this psychological warfare bs needs to be met with class and a beat down on the field. All that nonsense is just clutter .
