I'm still looking for a laptop. I will go 8Gb Ram, SSD, 256GB memory.
As for a processor what should I focus on?

Something with an 8th gen intel i5, at minimum

For strictly MS Office and Internet, almost anything will be fine.
I personally would do at least an i5
If you plan on storing a lot of pictures or videos you will want larger than 256GB

Agree with the I5.
The mobile I3's are only 2 core. The new mobile I5/I7 are 4 core processors.

ryzen 5 3600, esp if your RAM is fast
