Question on if/how I will get refund for points I used.

Between the wife and I we have 3 round trips in the next 5 weeks. Total was $800 bucks of which I used about $650 in CC points.

I booked all the travel through Capital One Travel.

It is all through United Airlines primarily but one of these trips is 2 one way tickets through United and Delta.

Am I going to be able to get these points and my cash back that paid? A credit for future airline travel?

Thanks

I called Capital One and got my points back. Delta gave me a voucher, however I had trip insurance so I filed a claim; jury is still out with the claim.

Chase travel is a fricking nightmare right now. Can only cancel if it's in the next 72 hours.

On hold for approx. 6 hours yesterday with Ultimate Rewards before giving up. Got through this morning after an hour but got a full refund....because United moved my flight more than 4 hours.

Chase I was able to use the chat when bringing up "my trips". I cancelled two flights and a hotel in no time.

I called United for two other flights this morning and was off the phone with both flights cancelled in 5 minutes.

Chase allows you to cancel online now, but it really depends on the hotel/airline policy that you booked. I got a credit for my AA flights booked with points which is what AA's policy is, not ideal but don't think there's anything I can do. Hearing that if you wait for the flight to cancel instead of you canceling beforehand (if international for example) then they'll refund you in your original form of payment.
