Why would we not take his commitment?

There have been several 4* recruits that bombed when they went out of state. I'll trust the coaches on this one and I don't blame them for wanting to see him in camp before accepting his offer.

I’m not really sure. Some have said our coaches want to get him in camp before he gets a commitable offer. That’s the only logical reason.

#5 according to who? And what's their scouting/coaching background?

Well clearly they’re stating that from the 247 LA 2021 Big Board .

So to answer your question the 247 scouts. The other three safeties in front show to have offers as well. Does that match the actual LSU “Big Board” who knows? Guess y’all could ask an insider for that.

Had to edit 3 other safeties rated above him on composite

Thankfully, the LSU coaching staff isn't stupid enough to pay attention to recruiting rankings provided by recruiting services.

If LSU is passing on DBs...that's the least positions I'm concerned about. Flott wasn't even highly rated and Auburn seemed to be okay with letting him go to LSU. Look how that turned out.

Nice whiff there for Auburn. If LSU is pressing for a DB to commit he's probably really damn good. Their evaluations there have been better than anyone the past decade.
