Need some direction. I’m interested in wireless surround sound. I have a Denon AVR-X1400H and a subwoofer already. I am looking for a sub, center, L, and R or similar setup - with the L/Rs at least being wireless.

Room is medium sized and will be used for TV/Movies only. Budget is not endless, but not necessarily looking for “a deal” or cheapest. Looking for a quality setup.

Any suggestions?

Just remember you still have to get power to those "wireless" speakers.

Where you planning on mounting them?

Yep, they could be mounted on a stand or an end table. Both would be next to outlets. I have seen them as both battery operated and wired for power.

I would at least get an estimate to run speaker cable. You may find it costs a lot less than you think and then you have any option you want.

I’m looking for less permanent. My living room space is odd shaped, so rearranging has happened. I don’t want have mounted speakers stop me from moving a couch or TV.

You’re right though, running wires isn’t expensive or hard to do. I’m just interested in the wireless option.

I don’t know about that particular set, but as a brand Klipsch has a good reputation.

I just looked again and you might be right. Looks like the sub can connect wirelessly, but the wall speakers still require wires.

They are all this way pretty much.
I looked into this b/c i didn't want run wires to my rear speakers. There are battery powered ones out there, but they have to be recharged and if memory serves me correctly, you have to turn them on everytime you want to use them. They will turn off with your system, but they won't come back on when the system comes back on. Kind of a PITA if you ask me.

I bought some kind of blue tooth transmitter, hoping i could connect one end to my sub, where the wire plugs into, and the other into the speaker. Taotronics BT Transmitter I actually got sound out of the speaker but it was full of static, and was never able to figure out how to clear it up.

Check to see if your receiver is HEOS compatible. If so that seems like a good place to start.

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like heos only has wireless soundbar and sub for home theater. The other speaks don't seem to operate as surrounds.
