Yeah. There have been a number of issues along the way.
There's been discussions to bring Nascar back to Nashville. So there'd been meetings to make it a multi-use site. There were issues with the funding. The owners have been increasingly willing to foot the bill, but the mayor wanted them to invest in infrastructure around the stadium. Just a huge mess. Happy it's done. The renderings with the stadium + the track are pretty cool.

All is well now. I guess the mayor caved when the governor wasn't interested in using state funds for the track.
