We plan on renting bikes to cross the Golden Gate and go into Sausalito

Just know that there is a lot of pedestrian traffic where you ride and it is very windy all the time. You may be very comfortable on a bike. If you aren't, that ride, though short, might be a little challenging or even scary. My daughter and I had planned on that. We hike a lot in Yosemite the day before and had tired legs so we decided not to do it. We were very glad we didn't.

Do Alcatraz. Make your reservations as soon as they open up. Alcatrazcruises.com is the official vendor. Do not buy from anyone else. It's really a must do if you've never seen it before.

Toronado for beers . Weed on haight asbury if no kids . Napa is cool . Bring jackets , will be colder then you think . Went to a giants game in June , it was 43 degrees .

HRD Coffee shop near at&t park if you like Kimchi. Great fried rice, pork chop, and kimchi burrito. If you are near the wharf on Saturday morning there is a farmers market that shows up. The pop up shop is called Roli Roti’s they make the best pork knuckle. If you get time to get out to Walnut Creek there is a tapas place I used to like to go to called Va da Vie.

Go up to Battery Spencer and Battery Wagner for the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city. That might be a bit of tough cycle ride uphill. You may want to go there by car, maybe on your way to or from Muir Woods.

Also, for me, driving Highway 1 down the coast to Monterey and Pebble Beach is an absolute must.

Isn't there a popular/must eat place in Chinatown?

City View, maybe? That + China Live and Begoni Bistro are my three favorites. Begoni, in particular, is the best example of classic Chinese in Chinatown, in my opinion.

You could work this into your Alcatraz day. Find a place to eat on the Northend or Embarcadero and then walk up the Filbert steps to Coit Tower and then down to Washington Square for a coffee or desert. You will get to really appreciate the hills of San Francisco

Thursday:
Landed at 9PM, checked into the hotel and walked over to Tony Nicks for a couple cockatils. Really enjoyed this place! Thanks, @UnitedFruitCompany

Friday:
Biked into Sausalito
Had Brunch at Bridgeway Cafe and was really pleased
Ferry back to SF Pier 1
Drinks at Boulettes Karder + Boulibar in the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market building
Dinner at Aziza
Dinner was good but not what we paid for it good.
Started out with each a cocktail. The Fes Fizz and the Royalty Cocktail. Both great.
The "SPREADS: BUTTER BEAN-MERGUEZ /PEQUILLO-ALMOND /DILL-LEBNI-ROE/MOROCCAN BREAD" was out of this world.
We then had the "BURRATA, EGGPLANT, PEPPER RELISH, RAISIN, PINENUT, RYE CRACKER" which was ok and the "KEFTA MEATBALLS, GRAPE, JICAMA, CILANTRO VINAIGRETTE, BLACK SESAME" which was great.
Finally we had the "SLOW COOKED CHICKEN LEG, AZIZA CURRY, CRISPY POTATO, CRACKED GREEN OLIVE, 9 YEAR-OLD LEMONS" which was chicken... I broke my rule of never ordering chicken at a nice restaurant but I love curry and potatoes and all so gave it a shot.

All in all we enjoyed it but wouldn't go back. I'm sure the other dishes were better.

Saturday:
Philz coffee in the morning w/ a blueberry muffin. Loved the coffee here. I had the Jacob's Wonder
Dim Sum early lunch at City View Restaurant. Loved it! But filled up too fast lol
Walked to and up Coit Tower, cool view of the city.
Walked down to Pier 39 and had some beers and looked at the seals. Touristy AF.
Cheese Sampler and a bottle of wine at the Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant in the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market building
Dinner at Caffè Macaroni. My favorite meal of the trip!
I had the Antelope Risotto and she had the Raviloli Pecorata

Sunday:
Coffee back at Philz, had the Ether this time.
Brunch at Dottie's True Blue Cafe. Food was very good.
Dinner at Osha Thai Restaurant. This was really good as well. We had a cup of the Tom Yum Soup. The Mussamun Lamb Curry. And the Pad Thai w/ chicken. All very good.

Flew out Monday morning. Thanks to all who contributed
