Them sitting on Hank’s bed while he showered, waiting, was chilling.

Tuco's cousins at the Santa Muerte shrine on YouTube

Pretty sure that's the way that episode started.

Yea?

That’s what I’m saying it’s ridiculously over the top and stupid. Everyone in that show is a caricature of an actual human being.

No one is believable and like able except for Mike

For a suburbanite living in Safeland city USA.

Watch some docs on the Mexican drug wars, those guys are fricking evil and ruthless.

BB actually toned it down...the whole drug trade, the violence...

Shite watch Cocaine Cowboys. Over the top is real life that you're sheltered from.

BB made this reality palatable to the American audience. They never brought in the underage sex trade going on in Mexico to us, they never showed the rampant murders on the border towns or in New Mexico. It was just one guy vs. a Cartel - kept it pretty sanitized vs. the Cartel basically murdering everyone later when they finally realized they were getting ripped off.

Which is why BB is a fantasy...WW doesn't live past season 1.

But you think the show is a cariacture? The caricature is Walter White surviving, the White Knight who becomes bad guy back to White Knight.

There is nothing caricature about the Bros except they don't talk...and instead of axes they would just have machine guns to mow down their opponent and anybody in the way, who gives a frick?

Basically everyone in the border drug wars or in border towns to Mexico is dead. At the hands of ruthless sociopath violent killers.

There are some real documentaries out there that would make you want to puke and how evil and murderous the towns right across our border. All for the drug trade and the Cartels.

Like the sicario played by Raoul Max Trujillo, in Blood Father?

It’s not the ruthless killing that is a caricature, it’s the axes, the no talking, the crawling scene, all of that cartoony crap.

Your rant made my point well, Breaking Bad gets praised for its realism but it’s so unrealistic. It would’ve been better if they had leaned into their ridiculousness instead of pretending like most of this could actually happen

Funny that the most realistic character on the show (Skylar) is the one that people hate the most
