Going to be in New Orleans this weekend. Any parades we shouldn't miss? Any tips to know(besides don't go)?

There are several parades starting tomorrow evening. Head uptown on St Charles and catch a few.
If you like beer, see if you can get on the balcony at the Avenue Pub. If not, go down the avenue towards Napoleon.

Sparta is a solid parade that starts at 5:30, so expect it to reach Lee Circle and Canal Street around 8:00 if not later.
Carrollton is at noon on Sunday.
Stay near the parade route and you should be safe.
If you do venture off the parade route, don't travel North into the bad neighborhoods.

This is actually a great weekend for parades. They are starting to get bigger, but without all of the loads of tourists that come in next week.
Cleopatra tonight is pretty good. Better to go up St Charles between Jackson and Napoleon to catch it.

We will be there tomorrow, from around 10am until babies get tired and we head back to inlaws "up da bayou"
Where would yall recommend "setting up" or getting a spot to watch and have a good time...preferably near or in front of food and drink, maybe a place to sit down.

Great weekend to catch parades and avoid crowds. Napoleon is great close to Magazine. Concessions sold by the school there and bathrooms at Ms Mae ‘s. Family atmosphere

How crowded will that area be tomorrow afternoon/evening? Can you get across the street? Are the crowds several people deep or is it sparse?
TIA
