Ormond Blvd. many years ago.
2 dead: an 18 year old and a 17 year old. He would be around 35 or 36 now.

I was childhood friends with the driver. There were reports that there was a 5th person that was also in the car. But Brad was driving. His sister (now an actress) does lots of stuff with DARE and CADA to raise awareness. Terrible tragedy.

My family members were friends with Brad. Everyone had said that Brad wasn't driving, even my friend that came upon the accident after it happened. Regardless of who was driving it was sad and such a tragedy.
His sister was on Days of Our Lives and Miss Louisiana.
You might even know my family members who grew up in St. Rose and Destrehan.

This is a quote from Shelley: "My brother was only 18 when he died," said Hennig. "There were four people in the car. Two of them survived. My brother and this girl passed away. We don't know who the driver was. And it doesn't really matter who was drinking."

I saw that article. My middle nephew was the same age as Brad and older nephew probably same age as his brother. They lived down the street from each other in St. Rose before they moved to D'han.
A longtime friend of mine lives off of Stanton Hall/Ormond where the accident happened. He told me that he saw the accident right after it happened and that Brad was not the driver. I have no reason to doubt him.
My nephew's mother also stated that Brad wasn't driving. She was friends with Brad's mother.
Regardless of anything I've heard, I still think SCPSO are a bunch of keystone cops. Nephew parents' house was broken into and cops accused him of doing it.
I have many things I've heard about SCPSO that I don't want to continue with.
Just glad I live in Jeff Parish where the cops solve crimes.

Yeah, they have such a great record of solving crimes. All they are good at is showing up in droves after the fact and bullying kids at Mardi Gras.

I like how they all drive $60,000 Tahoes,

Saw a deputy the other day in an F350. What do those things cost?
While they are rather expensive vehicles, none of them cost what the regular retail sticker is. Fleet pricing is typically much less. LSP uses Tahoes. JPSO & NOPD have Explorers. Let's stop acting like other departments are cruising around in Honda Civics or Toyota Corollas.

I refer you to the shootings along W. Metairie. Took JPSO very little time to figure out "who done it."
JPSO has a better arrest record than other LEOs in the area.
In re: your comment, I'm sorry you were misbehaving and got in trouble with JPSO at Mardi Gras.

So, what has he done well? I know that he has been there forever but crime is up across the board in pretty much every statistical category during his tenure.
Bump.
