Restaurant recommendations - New Orleans

So, been to New Orleans a good bit in my life, but not from here.
I’m looking for a restaurant near the Intercontinental Hotel that I can take some out of towners to.
I was thinking Mr. B’s, but it is going to be a later lunch (post-2) and you can only sit at the bar at that point.
I’ve got other good recs, but they are a ways, and I’m looking for something local that isn’t very far.
