iPhone mobile hotspot and Fire stick issues

Checking to see if anyone else is having this issue or has a fix.
I live way out in the sticks so I have to run my firestick off my mobile hotspot. I get good service through Verizon and have not had any issues until a couple weeks ago. Now the fire stick will connect to the hotspot, but it says there is no internet. I've done reboots of both the fire stick and phone, reset network settings on the phone, and still it will not connect.
My son connected his phone to my mobile hotspot this morning and it worked just fine. I'm just not able to find a fix for this. I call Amazon and they blame one of the 13.X updates. I call Apple and they blame Amazon. No one knows what the hell is going on.

are you past your limits on the hotspot? I get 15GB of hotspot data only

I have unlimited. For hotspot too. 15GB per phone at high speed and then it slows down after, but it never stops. But I'm not even close to the 15GB right now because I haven't been able to connect.

Have you tried a different Firestick?
