At the Golden Nugget, Last weekend of March. Anyone going? Thinking of heading out there one day. Tickets are only $10

I would do it. I wish we had more of these smaller tour events down here. Hardly any crowd and all of these guys are ridiculously good.

I'll probably go for a day. Definitely going to the Chitimacha the weekend before too

I'll head out there for the weekend. Trying to get father in law to volunteer. Seems like it would be fun to keep score, or some other job walking the course with these guys.

They should go low at Golden Nugget...

If I could clear it at work, I would LOVE to be a walking scorer all weekend. Would be pretty cool to see it all up close and personal

Did they build a range? Or are they using L'Auberges?

They'll have to use L'Auberge

That is going to be one crowded and shitty range for professionals. I'm hoping the wind gusts at 40 mph+ just to see how they handle it out there. It can get pretty rough

The top 1/3 of those playing will shred the course

I’ll be there for sure, I’m local so it’s something to do. Be neat to see them play a course I’ve played..

About 1/3 of KF ranges are irons only or really shitty. It's honestly crazy how bad the range situation is out there.

It's tough having the two LA korn ferry tournaments in March before courses can come out of dormancy and grow the rough out. If they get a benign weekend and the wind stays calm then yeah they'll shred the course as the course literally has no defense for pros. If its in the 50s and gusting like it can get fairly often out there then they'll struggle. Heavy winds can lead to big numbers, even for the pros

Over seeded at the end of 2019. The rough is honestly ridiculous tall in spots right now. Like lose your ball tall. Fairways are wide so it shouldnt be an issue for most of the KF guys but if the wind is up could see some high scores from the ones not driving it well.
