Incorporate and "college" season in there with a draft, franchise mode, online play, complete and easy customization, ability to create college teams and customize schedules, shareable rosters and flies. I think that game would have more sales than Madden

I think they could make an interesting game, though I would stay away from college. I think the key there would be to have a create a player mode where you can detail it. Make it where they dropped out of college, or played college and went undrafted, or even have it where you can select that they played in "The League" (so you don't have to pay NFL for rights to use name. Use those settings for stats. Younger players don't have the smarts but more stamina, former league players are smarter and more poised under pressure, but get tired easier. Obviously, make it where every one can improve over time and with practice/game play.

Sure if they want to make a game that won’t sell

LOL WUT???

Lets make sure the actual league can make it to a second season before it tries to take on one of the most popular video game franchises of all time.

It would never out-sell Madden, but it would definitely get a purchase from me. Hell, I still play All Pro Football 2K8 from time to time. They should go that route (they won't since downsizing), but I think EA Sports now has rights to former players as well
