So first off, I'm assuming he hasn't officially signed on with Baylor?

Also, if we would bring him in as the PGC, is that a step up over wide receiver coach? Or would we be offering more if we are trying to lure him back?

I think he’s officially part of their staff. Could be a step up especially as far as responsibilities and salary goes, not to mention LSU being a bigger stage than Baylor.

If O misses on his top target then he will give Munoz a call. Jorge will have a decision to make

He is officially part of the staff, Baylor announced it. Basically means a MoU has been signed. Doesn't mean an actual contract has.
I assume at LSU he would be QB Coach and PCG. I'd say thats a step up from WR coach at Baylor. While Baylor is private and has all that baptist money, i really doubt they pay as much as LSU does, so its probably a pay upgrade too.

I guess I missed it, who's the supposed leading candidate? If we felt good about Munoz, why not offer him before all of this happened?

Everyone keeps saying that he is just the WR coach at Baylor which is incorrect. He was hired at Baylor as the WR coach/Passing Game Coordinator. So we couldn't offer a higher position at LSU, only more money and obviously LSU>Baylor.

I saw it reported as wr coach
Is fedora only going to install the running game and let him handle the passing game?

Also o hasn't interviewed anyone yet, that's why munoz took the opportunity at Baylor.
He said he can always circle back to him and yes at that point munoz would have to make a decision

I think people are over selling munoz. Feel like people want him because he was here as the same time as Brady, not that he is just THAT good

I think the main thing with Munoz is can he recruit at the level you need him to recruit
You already have Ensminger and how does he relate to the young QB's of this day and age

Would you wanna be the PGC taking over after what Butrow/Brady did at LSU? I think Baylor would probably be a lot less stress.

Munoz was a big part in the transformation so I don't mind having him back for continuity reasons.

1. You have way better players
2. You don’t become a college football coach if Stress is something you can’t handle.

Joe Burrow thought so much of him that he invited him to the Heisman presentation & gave him a big hug & handshake. I'll go with Burrow's opinion of his importance. Plus he & Coach E already have an established relationship.

If he were LSU's first choice, the promotion would've happened already. It probably still can happen but it'll cost them a hell of a lot more now.
