Drove down South Claiborne today and saw a Starbucks at Claiborne and Toledano. Seems kinda out of place.

Why spend $4 for a cup of coffee when you can get the same shite at a nearby gas station for a dollar?

Not fair. Starbucks is much better than gas station coffee

People stay poor because they are bad with their money. Also, free WIFI.

So does Pets Smart, and the rest of the chains across the street...

They actually cleaned up that area nicely... Now, if they can get rid of the Jazz daiquiris, the cricket wireless and the payday loan place, it would be great.

Noticed you didn't say anything about Chicken and Watermelon. But I agree, that little corner is nothing but trouble. Passed there on Sunday afternoon and it was packed with people, cars parked in the street, and motorcycles. Couldn't wait for the light to change.

A lot of people pass it on their way to work every day. Claiborne is one of the main thoroughfares from Uptown to Downtown.
