Good for him. Make enough money to live off and save all that stress on the body. And good for the Saints too.

always interesting to watch Brees try to call a play and Kuechly immediately change the defense to try to match whatever Brees was calling

Agreed.

What is the boards thoughts on hiring him as linebacker coach to replace Nolan? Could teach Ellis and Anzalone how to be professionals. Kinda like when Carolina hired Sam Mills as LBer coach.

Is he a hall of Famer? I think not, based on his short career

I would be for it, but it would not be similar to Carolina hiring Mills. Mills played for Carolina for 3 years before becoming a coach, he already knew the system

The Panthers missed their window. Cam, Olson, Kuechly, are all done.

Is this injury related?

Of course. Why else would a player his caliber retire at 28. Very smart move on his part. Get out while you have your health and he is very financially set one would think if he invested wisely. Has made at least 60 million playing.

This is a great loss for the NFL. He's one of the true good guys of the league, and he's a phenomenal player. I'm glad we got to play against him all these years. It's been a joy watching him play, and it has made us better in the process. Play the best to be the best!

Godspeed Luke! Much respect from this Who Dat!

HOF career! Plus he is pretty enough for the booth.
Good luck to him it was fun watching him play. Was one of may IDP keepers for several years.
