Dropped a cast iron and chipped a polished granite edge (smaller than 1/4"). Any options to repair?

If you have a small piece of the granite, you could smash it up to a fine powder and mix it with a clear epoxie and fill the spot in. Would have to come back and lite sand and then polish it out. That might work.

Local granite installer could fix it for you. Not sure what they would charge, but call and ask.

I just checked with my granite company because of the same issue. $150 was my quote.

sounds about right. We had a few cracks, chips, separated seams, etc when we bought our house. Granite repair guy came out for a full day...cost about $600 if i recall.

Looks brand new now, can't even tell where the cracks were.

DIY stone repair

Seems pretty foolproof and the kit is $30 on amazon. It will probably be a little more challenging since. Your chip is on the edge, but if you use 2 of those clear strips, you should be able to fill the edge
