One And Done PGA Golf Contest

Golf fans, check this contest out. It kicks off next week at the Sony Open and runs through the BMW Championship on August 20th. It makes the year's golf action a bit more exciting!

OBJECTIVE
The goal of the contest is to accrue the most earnings by selecting PGA golfers to compete for you over a season of 36 tournaments.
Each week you will pick a golfer and an alternate.
The total official winnings earned by your selected golfer at the end of each tournament will be added to your total season winnings.
Total season winnings are used to determine the winners.
In addition to the season long competition, there will be five other segment competitions as well.
The first will be the most money accumulated among the PLAYERS Championship, three WGC’s, and the four majors (8 events).
The other four competitions will be a series of nine event segments.
Segment 1 is events 1-9
Segment 2 is events 10-18
Segment 3 is events 19-27
Segment 4 is events 28-36
During each segment, each team will accrue winnings with the top in earnings winning prizes.


SCORING
You may only use a golfer ONCE during the entire season.
You must submit your starting golfer via the website before first round play begins.
The weekly form will contain the deadline which is the same as the first tee time (the deadline will not change in the event of a weather delay).
You may edit your selection until the weekly deadline.
Your selected golfer will earn you the winnings he is awarded at the end of the tournament (assuming he makes the cut and wins some money).
In the event your chosen golfer withdraws before completing the first round, he will not be charged as used and you will be scored based on your alternate.
However, if he completes the first round then withdraws or gets disqualified, you are out of luck!
In the unlikely event that your alternate pick also withdraws, your alternate will not be considered used either, but you will be without a golfer for the tournament.

January 9th, Sony Open - August 20th, BMW Championship
This year’s schedule includes four off-field events. This will require you to select golfers for two different tournaments, four weeks of the season.
WGC-Mexico - Puerto Rico Open
WGC-Match Play - Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship
WGC-FedEx St. Jude - Barracuda Championship
The Open Championship - Barbasol Championship
