No way he gets 7 TDs when he gets pulled in the 4th quarter to let Brennan hand the ball off and seal the win...

He needs 4 to break the ncaa record. That will be difficult against Clemson’s defense, but if it’s a close game, that could help.

I don't think 4 will be that hard, that is an average outing for him. If we don't score 6 TDs (say 4 passing 2 rushing) we are in trouble as far as winning this game goes.

D has improved but I do not trust them to win the game. We have to outscore them.

Here's the thing, and Burrow has stated this many times this year.....we pass to set up the run. That's why we end up with both TD's that Marshall caught instead of powering it in like the old days. I'm still surprised sometimes when "oh....we're throwing it here".

I think our defense is going to surprise a lot of people. Healthy and with a chip on their shoulder with all of the "not a complete team" and "no difference makers" talk they keep hearing. It's going to be a physical show.

Similar to the Alabama game, I think Clemson will do everything they can to try to stop Burrow but CEH will have a huge game on the ground and in the air. And of course, Burrow still had 400 yards and 3 TDs against Bama

He will not throw seven TD's in the first half. This Clemson D is good. 5 maybe, sure but not seven.

I know this Clemson defense is unlike anything he's faced so far
Really?

Justin Fields (in a heavy brace) threw for 320 against Clemson (65.2%). Fields had only one other 300 yard game in '19... 307 against Rutgers.

No reason why he doesn't throw 4 TDs this game.

The running game will be too good. Unless Clemson sells out to stop it Joe will have one of his worst games, statistically, of the year yardage and TDs. But they will eventually, then Joe will eat and could get the TD record. Venables has his work cut out this game, it’s gonna take some uncharacteristic fricking up for LSU not to score. A lot
