What would have happened his final year at LSU that would have guaranteed an NFL career? Stupid stupid post. He clearly was not good enough at make it in the NFL.

The number of guys who are able to graduate in 4 years isn't that great. And for the ones that do, a Kinesiology or General Studies degree isn't exactly a big difference for the kind of jobs they are going for without the degree.

If they are serious about getting the degree and finishing, one year of undergrad LSU on financial aid isn't going to be a huge burden to pay back
agreed. Look, getting any degree is good and I commend all players that graduate. But lets be honest, the vast majority of them study Sports Management.

That's not quite the same as engineering, accounting, business, etc. where many high-paying jobs are waiting for graduates.

And it's also not a herculean task to come back for a year to finish up their degree, if pro ball doesn't work out. Yes, it may be hard for a short time, but it's not like they have many years of school left. After all, they can't jump to the NFL until they're 3 years out of high school, so they should be most of the way toward their degree.

Like many other people in this thread have said, “ Joe says hello”

What a foolish comment What does Joe Burrow have to do with Toby Weathersby? Does Ciron Black say hi as well?

I can almost guarantee that if he had stayed his senior year, he would probably still be in the NFL right now.

Think the lack of required NFL talent and skill level may have played a bigger part than whether he left school a year early.

I think Malachi should have stayed as well. Needed maturing.

Talented, but I never saw the desire out of him like the current WRs. Jefferson built himself into what he is, strong mental game. If Russell Gage (and I loved Gage for the Tigers) can start for the Falcons, Jefferson will get drafted 3rd-4th round based on what he has proven he can do, and he is not scared to catch it inside.

The discussion last year was if D. White and Rashard Lawrence should stay. Lawrence hasn't helped his draft stock at all. Might have hurt his situation.

If Rashard Lawrence left last year, he would’ve been a 6-UDFA

And he still might be. So, again hurt himself.
