Almost a week later. Pete Golding is still employed.

Saban is toast.

Officially one week later.

Pete Golding is STILL being paid for his services as a defensive coordinator.

Maybe UTSA will hire him. I don't see why, though. And frick this "after signing day" bullshite. Is Golding even that good of a recruiter?

The entire college football world is dancing on Alabama's grave and Saban is doing nothing about it. Unacceptable.

So UTSA has filled their HC vacancy with another position coach. And Pete Golding is STILL defensive coordinator at Alabama.

Golding was and is an excellent Coach. Bama Def overall had a good year, however they’re judged for the big games. Whatever Golding has going on, I trust he will get it solved and go back to looking like a future Broyles award winner.

Lol you need to support your team as they prep for the citrus bowl and quit worrying about Coach Golding. He did a great job and coach Saban is pleased with his performance. He knows the defense was just young and plagued by injuries.

It’s just a game dude. It has no real impact on your life, not that serious.

uab is not playing in the Citrus Bowl. They are licking their wounds from the arse-kicking Lane Kiffin just gave them.

Well maybe it has something to do with losing all his linebackers then at some point all his 3 man defensive line. And having zero depth so they were 100% replaced with freshmen. That worked against Arkansas and State but not so well against LSU and AU. Aside from that his freshman D held AU to 32 points I believe, maybe even fewer since AU may have ran a kick back. The QB gifted them two TD's.

Cry me a frickin river. Bama has had the number one recruiting class four of the last five years. One class in this years team was not ranked number one. They were fifth

Losing all their linemen and lbs to injury? With the way they h e recruited they should be a solid three deep across the board. Having to play a bunch of true freshmen suggests there is a major problem

Maybe the 13 coaches who left the past two years is a bit of a problem?

Bama fans crying about lack of depth is just laughable.

Saban doesn't fire assistants. He strongly encourages them to take another job.

Best example was Nussmeier.

Saban had Lane Kiffin in as an "offensive analyst" for the Sugar Bowl.

A few days after the game Nussmeier goes to Michigan.

A few days later Lane Kiffin is named Alabama OC.

The big dog programs don’t make staff changes until after signing day.

So Texas isn't a "big dog" program. K.

Virtually everyone else in the conference is upgrading their coaching staff, except for maybe Auburn, and they don't even need to in order to beat Alabama it seems. Sad.

This isn’t true at all. Many programs haven’t made changes unless they changed out HC. Georgia got worse with their staff change. I would say gaining Morris is a positive.
