Will Kendall Briles ever get a HC shot?

Yes he’s got a stink of a scandal on him but the man is one of if not the best OC in the game.
Look at his last three stops and the immediate improvements he’s made regardless of talent
FAU
2016: 80th Scoring offense
2017: 8th Scoring Offense
Houston
2017: 65th
2018: 5th
FSU
2018:113th
2019: 66th
And he’s got guys like Hornibrook at QB and a deep ale at HC.

66th isn’t great but it is obviously a huge improvement. Especially considering that FSU insiders say he was handcuffed by Taggart and FSU has one of the worst offensive lines in the country.

If it tells you anything, Briles made Hornibrook 3rd string when Taggart was canned.

If he wants a head gig in today’s politically correct climate, then he will have to go to the NFL. Most universities lean liberal and there would be protests among the woke over a guy like him at a lot of schools.
He might pass at some southern schools, but not all. Look at what went down at UT because of hearsay in the case of Greg Schiano. Outrage culture sucks, but it usually ends up winning. I certainly don’t agree with allowing that to dictate hires, but it is what it is.
