In all seriousness, the Republican party will have to soldier on past the time of Trump. Perhaps a politician like Kemp sees this even now and is planning for it.

Great. We can throw away all the momentum created by Trump and go back to the GOPe and RINOs

The GOPe/RINO Republican party is dead man walking, they're just too stupid to see it.

Kemp is gonna lose a lot of support and goodwill in Georgia today and its an unnecessary self-inflicted wound and in all likelihood will lead to a serious primary challenge next time up

Doug Collins is a fricking rock star on the House Judiciary Committee. As a Georgia resident I love him where he is at this point in time with the Trump Coup etc. If he goes to the Senate...what is he going to do/where will he be appointed?

Doug is needed in the House. Let him stay there for now.

This is my first opinion on the topic.

I love having Collins where he is - All we need in the Senate right now is a rock solid constitutionalist who can be re-elected with ease.

Calling Gaetz an "acid-wash Jean-short wearin' Floridian" was maybe not their greatest moment either.

Why anyone downvoted this is beyond my comprehension.

Do you guys truly believe Trump started a movement within the GOP that those spineless cucks will follow once he's out of office?

It will be back to business as usual and Kemp "gifting" this soon to be Senator who essentially gave $$ to PP and is a Dem donor is the complete opposite of where we need to be.

How is this line of thinking wrong? TIA

Should have went with him. Your own fault, Georgia.

It's the other way around with Trump. His policies are very popular but the man himself is not as popular as Obama

That's because Trump receives 94% negative coverage from the media, while Obama was portrayed as Black Jesus.

Damn dude, you RINO's are worse than the Leftists. President Trump should send spineless soy boys like you and hhtm to reeducation camps. Learn to fight for what's right.

EDIT - Ron DeSantis is governing as a pro-Trump conservative in Florida, and his Approval Rating is in the 70's.
