This jerk is pooping right in front of the door from our bedroom to the porch.

The poop is an inch from the wall. It’s not huge poop, but it’s poop. Maybe like the size of toddler poop. Some of it is flat where the culprit stepped on it.

I have found pee there before but I’m drawing the line at turds.

Who did the poo? Coyote? Coon?

Put the game camera out. Hope I catch the mad crapper.

ETA. The porch is big with 3 doors. The pooper is doing statement poops next to my bedroom door.

Its a gross search, but loads of scat ID webpages exist. Possum looks diff from raccoon. Not likely to be cat, they prefer loose material for scratching around/covering.

Cats cover their shite and aren’t dumb enough to step in it.

Game camera or a .22 with night optics would answer your question.

Game cam pics showed two bucks close to the bedroom window but not on the porch.

No way it’s deer backing their asses up to make statement poops by the door.

Anyone know how to post pics? I forgot how

You’d be surprised how big toad crap is. I had it all over my porch for a while and finally figured out that’s where it came from when I found him in his little hole with a ton of those turds around him. I put out a game camera too but wouldn’t ever pick him up

I was thinking toad also. But then he said the poop had been stepped in.

If the trail cam isn’t catching anythjng, try the old baby powder or flour trick. Sprinkle it around the area and you’ll get some tracks/prints that can help w ID.

Here's the poop in question:

Here's the game cam pics. First is my dog's arse. Clearly he's mooning the camera to show me he is capable of much bigger turds.

Second is the deer. I don't think they did the poo.

Would try the flour; but last time I put it on the fireplace to make bunny prints it took me 4 weeks to completely clean up.

your pics look like racoon crap. Dont let your pets, dogs and cats, around that shite, it will make them sick. Get you a trap at Tractor supply, they are relatively cheap.

The 2nd pic is racoon and seems to match.
