Makes no damn sense. Push everything back a month, hunting in 90*+ heat is absurd.

It’s absurd. I just sat down and am absolutely sweating my arse off with some super thin pants that I rolled up and a short sleeve shirt.

Can’t kill em from the couch though.

I ride my road bike 60 mi/ week in the heat so the heat doesn’t bother me too much, though it is uncomfortable. It’s the fact that nothing is moving and I have to lug around a cooler full of ice just in case I kill something, but most likely won’t.

I fail to see the problem with starting bow season in November and ending gun in February. That actually makes sense, though, so they’ll probably never do it.

November: bow
December: primitive or bow
January: Rifle primitive or bow

Getting on top of duck season too much with all that malarkey.

Just sit in the AC and watch football

That seems a bit unnecessary. How long do you expect to be in the field with a dead animal?

In Louisiana area 7 we rut early. Deer are full rut right now. It’s usually over by mid to late October. This is my best chance of getting a decent buck. Gotta suck up the heat and humidity.

Too hot to hunt. Still dealing with mosquitoes, snakes, etc.
