Build.com is where I bought nice fixtures for my remodel. Check with your contractor to see what company he likes to work with. Delta vs Koehler

There's a lot more options than "Delta vs (sic) Koehler". I took my best online price into my local showroom and they beat the online price and have provided excellent service as I change my mind, add more to my order, etc. Worth searching online, but don't discount the plumbing showrooms.

There's more than a low price difference between many of the big box valves (that's where you need to spend big bucks - not by looking at the fancy chrome parts) and those found in plumbing supply houses. Things like how much of it's plastic and does it have stops?

eta

btw: How high end - you wanting multiple showers heads - even higher flow valves? If so talk to your plumbing specialist.

Yep. I decided on California Faucets for our shower renovation. The thermostatic master valve with integrated diverter weighs over 14lbs...the comparable Delta valve weighs under 4lbs. Metal vs plastic.

Max flow rate @60psi of the California Faucets valve is 14.3 gpm. Delta is 6.5 gpm.
