Bridgewater is doing as good a job as he can or we cqan hope for. Hardly any, if any, backups win consistently in NFL games. What he is not doing, is not losing games for us. One turnover (Ginn should have caught that ball) is all he has had in 2 games. If he can keep it up he may finish better than the 3-3 everyone thought he would get us. Remember, he has not played in the past three years in meaningful situations. I thought each of the 3 games he got better.

Allen, Minshew and soon to be daniel. This season has been weird with the number of backups that have come in and have been taking care of business.

That being said, we could do alot worse. We could have Blake Bortles, lol. Teddy doesnt get enough credit for those long, methodical drives that give our Defense time to rest and keeps theirs on the field. I mean dallas' D was absolutely gassed by the 4th. I'm proud as hell of our QB. Boy's got grit.

Ummmm Mr Purple,

I hate to say it, But not played much is weak. Teddy looked indecisive and lost as frick from the game I saw last night.

He deserves a lot of credit for checks and audibles at the line as well. Putting his team in the best position as possible, helps especially with blocking good/great defensive linemen/ blitzing.

You are right, but there are a ton of idiots on here that expect him to play like Drew Brees.
It’s hard to start 1st and 20 damn near every time.

He's playing indecisive and non-assertive; this is creating a leadership vacuum on the field on the offensive side of the ball. Also Bridgewater is not trusting his receivers and his arm - they are calling downfield plays but he is not pulling the trigger on contested catches.

It's a shame because he can sling it with a certain degree of accuracy, he's just playing not to lose.

He is a decent backup but we need to find someone who can put points on the board.

I hope CSP does not think TB is Brees's replacement.

I am not at the games, but it looks like every time Kamara goes in the left flat and Teddy looks right, he never looks back at Kamara, is he open as much as he looks like on TV?

He made some bad decisions last night. The int obviously wasn’t on him but he made some mistakes a veteran shouldn’t have made. The expectations were very high for Teddy so that doesn’t help. He wasn’t supposed to be your average backup qb.

Cowboys have our Oline's #. Over the years no matter how good our Oline is, there is always a team or 2 that have their #. Think Browns and Rams for several years back in the SB era. Armstead played his worst game a Saint and our interior struggled, everyone did except Ram. I don't think yesterday is a good game to judge TB, especially considering he's a backup. Even the Seahawks game it rained most of the day. He's not Russel Wilson and obviously not Brees, but he is 2-0 as a starter and that's good in my book.

He’s been lucky so far. We are gonna need some TD drives from him at some point if we want to keep winning. Defense playing lights out and getting special teams and defensive touchdowns is not gonna happen every week

Teddy is fine. Could be worse. Could be better. He’s clearly not the future.

Nick Mullens, Chase Daniel, Gardner Minshew, Kyle Allen, jacoby brissett, jimmy garropollo and Tony romo(once upon a time). I could go on.

All guys who have shown more, both in their role as backups and as future starters, when thrust into the starting role than Teddy has. Teddy’s closest comp now is the Tebow Broncos. Teddy is not playing “well.” He’s doing just enough that with elite defense, special teams, and some fortunate bounces we’re eking by teams.

Which is fine. He’s better than mason Rudolph and like Jeff driskel. But there’s nothing wrong with admitting that clearly isn’t the long term solution. And we clearly need Brees back ASAP

At this point were just trolling our own QB. Let's give him a shot. He will improve. Hes building on that confidence. Brees will guide him as well. Although no 9 is off the field, we cant underestimate his value as a mentor off of the field. Lord knows Brees has taken an unnecessary sack on 3rd down before (like one time ever, but still)

What people don't understand is that he is a good backup. He is just not the answer as our next starter, they are confusing the two. And, he played against 2 pretty good defenses and he will get better with more reps.
I was hoping for 4 and 2 without Drew but guessing 3 and 3. I feel good about 4 & 2.

Bruh, Teddy checks down on damn near every drop back...and guess what his audibles are.....check downs haha

At least he isn't making critical mistakes resulting in turning the ball over at a high rate. Think his pick last night, that could have/should have been caught has been his only turnover.

But when he took that sack on 3rd down at end of 4th qtr and took us out of FG range....I lost my fricking mind on him
