How seriously should NFL teams take the first two weeks of explosive football from LSU quarterback Joe Burrow? Some analysts already vaulted Burrow into the first round of next year’s NFL Draft. Add longtime ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay to the list of impressed scouts

He will go top 10, especially if he wins the Heisman

If he continues on this trajectory, there is no way 32 teams pass on him.

I don't think the Heisman will have anything to do with it. If Hurts wins the Heisman, he damn sure isn't going in the top 10. I would think top 10 is a stretch. First round may be a stretch too, but through two weeks Burrow has certainly exceeded even the wildest of expectations.

We are two games into the season. It all depends if he sustains this high level success and does not get injured.

Yes, he is a 1st rounder if he continues on this trajectory. He made some true NFL throws Saturday night. He made several anticipatory throws.

As long as he keeps it together this year, NFL teams should be happy there will be more than one good QB In the draft. Should diminish the #tank4Tua movement.

I don't think you can look at Burrow and not see a little Tom Brady. Unless he crashes and burns, he should be a 1st round pick.

I don't watch a lot of NFL. I recognize Saints, Pats, and Denver as Spread teams (vs Pro-Set). Are Cincy, Tampa, and Indy also Spread teams?
