I think you should use all 14 clubs during a round.

There should be a reachable par 5 on each side with 2 well executed shots with a driver and a fairway wood.

Par 3s should vary from low iron to fairway wood or hybrid.

Par 4s should vary a good bit. Maybe one should be drivable, but with trouble left or right. One should require a hybrid or fairway wood. And of course most should be in between.

I typically play one up, with several exceptions.

I want to play tees that allow me to play the course as I feel it was intended. If I’m playing Driver- Wedge every hole, I’m playing too far up.

Move back? Heck, one of the best things about turning 60 is moving to the seniors tee's. Can't wait. My game about to get real good in a couple years.
