I remember my move in day. Thursday before classes began. Some extremely energetic RA types unloaded our car. My parents went with them to the room while I moved the car.
“Park across the lake” the dumbfrick RA said. He meant the fricking pond behind Herget, and my dumb 18yr old arse parked at Baton Rouge beach and walked. I got to the room like an hour later.
Worst fricking day ever. I did welcome week the proper way with getting blackout drunk for the next 4 days.

I didn’t have to, he made it before I spoke with him. Traffic was backed up on 10 trying to get off. Won’t affect me again so I really don’t care other than it makes LSU look like they are ate up with the dumbass.

F King is out there every move-in day, all day long. Saw him last year moving son into West Hall. He apologized for the traffic. After helping (literally helping) some kids unload their stuff, he went to another dorm.
Today I moved him into ECA. Lack of parking around there + sorority rush made it a long afternoon. Plus, it was 150 degrees.

Helicopter parents have to stop and Facebook every 3 minutes. It is hard to accommodate all the extra time
