Yes and no. I just got a $900 build for $600 prebuilt. I threw all the specs into PC Part picker and the prices would’ve been $900 and some change. But the prebuilt was listed on Newegg for $900 something and it was on sale for $600 and some change.

i5 8th Gen 8400 (2.80 GHz)
8 GB DDR4
1 TB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Edit: it’s listed at $899
And it was $679 when I bought it.

It was on sale because the CPU and GPU are last generation. Also, that build should be around $700 anyway. What motherboard, power supply, storage, and ram are in it?
