I’m not a big gun person BUT if major gun control starts getting support by Trump I will go out and purchase more than a few, including an “assault” weapon or two with no hesitation.

Good news, if Trump pushed gun control the liberals will all of a sudden defend the second.

You guys are the biggest pussies. Someone needs to buy tampons.... Have you not figured out that POTUS Trump ALWAYS talks to the other side but NEVER agrees to a crummy deal.? This is his personality for the last 40 years..

Define what a crummy deal is on gun control to Trump. You can’t because no one know. What is known is:

He exec ordered bump stock ban after Vegas (knee jerk and meaningless to the issue)

Is a New Yorker (very anti-gun city)

Doesn’t have any gun knowledge in his back ground

Has stated multiple times he supports red flag laws.

What happens if Trump has a blind side to how important the 2nd amendment is to the very voters required for RE-election?

Why the frick are you so scared?

In what reality will you think the POTUS would yield on guns? Do you think he is that stupid? honestly? Is there any history of him yielding on this?....

I am NOT TALKING ABOUT WHAT HE SAYS. I AM TALKING ABOUT WHAT HE DOES. IT IS 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS

You think he will risk losing the election in 2020 and essentially end his family's empire/life with a real risk his sons' get thrown in jail for political reasons just to appease some assholes with the Red Flag shite?

Sometimes I really think you guys want to be constantly afraid because that is your baseline state.

EDIT: If you want something to be afraid about that is legitimate: Figure out what to do with the Democratic Party absentee voter ballot harvesting in the 2020 election. Now , THAT should be something to keep you awake at night.

Why be concerned?

The POTUS sounds not only ready, but eager to sign a red flag bill.

Same with the Senate majority leader.

The Dems certainly want more, but they will take this gift.

I don't know where the confidence that this is not going to happen comes from.

Pffwell. Actually there aint any federal red flag bill that could be signed into law. They're state laws. Other than voicing they're own approval of whatever variation they see as acceptable (Trump), congress is only considering federal grants with strict stipulations to states who want to do it. 15 and DC are already doing it even with no fed monies, quite a few more are strongly considering it. Another handfull had been doing it for a while under a different title and slightly different circumstances. Very slightly.

Well I bet that there is a better chance of gun regulations coming from a new yorker that a louisianaian, or south carolinan or other southerner.

Trump has expressed leftward views on guns before. Same for pro choice. Some thought he was a rino.

Again, I wouldn’t be surprised if he cut a deal.

Bump stock ban ring a fricking bell? Which part of shall not be infringed do you not fricking understand?

He, and those around him are not to be trusted on the 2nd amendment.

I didn't swear an oath to protect and defend the president I swore to protect the constitution. If we don't push back and hard on this issue he will pass it and then it is too late.

Speak up now or be lead to "slaughter" silently.

Do not mistake my conviction with fear, that would be a mistake.
