I predicted that Cam Meredith would not catch a pass for the Saints. I was wrong, he caught nine balls. I was told by a current assistant coach for the Chicago Bears that Cam was a mistake by the Saints. I also said the reason he would be a bust was not the lack of talent, or the knee injury, but he had no heart for football.

Next time you doubters want a winner on Saturday or Sunday. Ask respectfully, and don't shoot the messenger next time I pass on inside info.

Yes. Next time we sign an injured former Bears WR that may have been coached by someone that someone you know knows, I'll be sure to look for your tweet

well, Gerard had one of the boldest takes i've ever seen, and while not literally right, in essence, he was spot on; that's saying a lot more than most of the hot takes and opinions on here

Good info Gerard!

the funniest part was that his first catch was a TD @ Atlanta.

I never had an issue with him giving his information and opinion on the signing. It was the outrageousness and arrogance of that “bold” take that he showed up in multiple threads to continue to push that made it easy to ridicule. If he would have just said “I don’t think Meredith will have much of an impact here because....” it would have been fine. But it was the certainty of his claim that he wouldn’t have a single catch here that was so ridiculous.

Had he not tried to act like some hot shot insider, his information would have been valued.

I have never seen a Saints "fan" so excited about information that was bad for the Saints. Also you were still wrong

Info is appreciated, but arrogant people are easy to pick on when they're wrong...the fact that you are coming back for round 2 proves your "see I was right" arrogance
