Well I think it's funny because most likely her room was robbed by someone who doesn't support Trump. And it could have even been a worker at the hotel.

It also looked like the teammate was getting the flag out of the way, not necessarily worried about "oh god a flag is on the ground! We're all going to hell!". It's also crazy to imagine that people react differently to the same event, right?
People are only mad about this because apparently half the internet is saying Rapinoe was the one who dropped it and it gives them a reason to continue being angry at her.
