Adjusting the driver

Bought a Nike covert driver, from Croaka on this board. While I love that stick I have never adjusted it from my 10.5 launch angle. My swing changes too much to start trying to adjust it for my hook, draw, slice, pop up every other tee box.

I read both that 13 and the original 13 from the link in the 2nd 13 article. Nowhere did I see bluetooth speakers so people can act like Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack on the list. To me that has been by far the biggest plague on golf courses the last few years.

I absolutely use an oversized marker, and you know what I never get asked on every green in our big money game:

“Hey RB10, where are you putting from?”

I also only use it when I’m not in someone else’s line. When I am, I use the standard sized marker that’s with my divot tool. It’s not rocket science.

There ain't nothing lucky about a lucky coin. I play in a scramble with a guy that always puts his so called lucky coin out. Well, it ain't fricking lucky. Why do people want to believe this bull shite. How about practice being a better fricking putter.

This has to be the most uptight guy on the golf board. I’d hate to be in his Sunday game. Buzz kill.

quote:

Called the National in Westlake to play a few years back and got two tee times. A little over an hour from here. Couldn't get enough for the two tee times so called back and cancelled one. Needed to move the tee time back, it was during the week, and they accommodated. Get down there and lo and behold the greens had been punched and sanded. We thought about going elsewhere but decided to go ahead and play. We get to number 7 and there's enough room on the other side of the green to drive your cart by not being inside the stakes, and one of our players drive his cart over there so as to not walk 50yds to his ball. We finish the hole and the other cart pair walk off towards their cart, me, and the marshal drives up and tells us to tell the other guy parked away from the green to keep the cart outside the stakes. I then tell the fricking marshal I called down here,(the national) three fricking times and nary a peep about punched greens. He said who did you talk to and I said hell I don't know, probably three different people. He got in his cart and drove off.

Could’ve just said:

I called National 3 times to set a tee time. No one told me the greens had been punched. I spoke with the Marshall on the course and he realized I’m a douchebag and he ignored me and drove off.

this is the worst rule of all, how can you have mandatory carts when its a walking game

My cart bugaboo is two people, both having to pay full cart fee when only using one cart.

A twosome should be encouraged to ride together by splitting the fee between the two players. If one player walks, then the other guy pays the whole fee. If the walker gets in the cart on hole 3, then it is up to player 1 to get his money back or just eat the fee he paid. The course has been made whole.

IE:
Cart fee: $22

Player 1: $11
Player 2: $11

or

Player 1: $22
Player 2: Walk

Either way, the club makes $22 for the use of ONE cart.

Unfortunately it seems to go:

Cart fee $22

Player 1: $22
Player 2: $22
Still only one cart being used.

We understood the math. You didn’t have to break it down.

I assure you there will be people who wouldn't get it or may STILL not get it.

Yeah, never understood the iron covers.
They should add visors that go up halfway on someone's head

A place like Pebble Beach is never going to offer discount rates, especially based on course conditions.

Incorrect. I played Pebble Beach last summer on the last day of their 10 day discounted punch window. In fact, if you go there within their punch window to play you don’t even have to stay there like you normally are required to do. Rather than $525 it cost me $375 and the greens were good but still a little bumpy in spots.

Courses should always at the very least give you a heads up. If they use the tiny holes typically it’s not a big impact but if they use the large holes they better offer a discount.
