That will never happen.

It's always going to be hype because Alabama is the team we MUST beat to win the division and conference (and likely to get to the CFB).

As long as Alabama keeps winning 11-12 games per year, it will be and should be the hype game.

Bama has the best WR group in Sec. but i believe LSU’s group is right there. They have Moses and Anfernee Jennings. We have Phillips Divinity & Chaaisson. RB they have the edge now but in Nov LSU May close that gap w/ Emery & TDP.. who’s lines play better? Imo the game being away from TS takes a little pressure off because no one is gonna give LSU a chance.

Jimmy also specifically mentioned how bad Tua appears when he is rattled. He thinks K'Lavon will be a huge factor in the game.

Did Jimmy mention how Saban is LSU's daddy?

Did you listen to the audio?

There were three people talking so it may have been brought up that LSU hasn't beaten them in a while.

Well, he's absolutely correct and everyone on here knows that this is LSU's best chance in awhile to stop this streak. They have an experienced, talented QB and as always a shite load of talent on offense with really good, big, strong and talented WR's this year for him to throw to. The RB depth is good, the only concern of course is at the OL positions as always, they need to step up and stop letting Alabama bully them around, I know it's easier said than done. But with the talented Chaisson coming back and a solid defense behind him with AA Delpit leading the secondary, this season is the season to hand these people a loss and start turning this ship around.

If we don't get Bama this year I'm not sure when we'll best them again. This 2019 team is as built to beat them as it's ever been.

I think you have the right idea, but kind of backwards.

I think we'll start winning it when we hype the other 11 games up as much as we hype this game up.

If you prepare as hard as you possibly can for NW St and the others, then by the time you get to Bama it's just the normal routine.

That’s so much easier said than done. Saban can’t even get his players to prepare every week the same.

Just give me a good game against them, W or L!! Not a damn blowout!!

no, just win. 2012 was a 'good game' and it still hurts to think about. 2016 as well.

But i also think all of the hype hurts LSU on a yearly basis.

This cannot be overstated. They have experienced depth everywhere else, except for qb.

Does anyone know what injury (or injuries) tua is fighting now?

I'll believe when I see we can block their defensive line. How many years ago was it when we could do that? I don't think we'll be able to do it this year either.
