Can we give Kenny Hustle some SL love?

Seems pretty evident to me that he's the "veteran" leader on that team right now. Averaging 10.7 rebounds a game.
I always talk about how he is one of the most selfless, "do whatever it takes to win" players I've ever seen.
Here's a list of guys averaging more FGA in SL on our team:
NAW
Bluiett
Hayes
Silva
Jackson (1 game)
Zion (tied - 1 half)
I love this dude's attitude, and I always balk a little when people lump in Kenrich with a Christian Wood. He seems like the type of guy that would be 100% ok with being on an NBA roster at the end of the rotation/bench, busting arse in practice without playing time, and fully supporting his teammates. I'm not parting with a guy that can step in if needed due to injuries at a reasonably high level for an "11th man" that will come pretty cheap annually.

I think MM said it well when he said that if you put PJ Tucker and Gerald Green on a summer league team and Green would look all-world while Tucker wouldn't put up numbers that stand out.
But in the NBA, Tucker is way more valuable because his game brings so much to the table other than scoring.
That's how I think of Kenrich.

Every team needs a Kenny Hustle.

He definitely played better last night than he did in the other game -- looked good out there.

I love his playing style but I just think he won’t be able to get regular season rotation mins until his 3 point shot gets a little bit more consistent

Kenny Hustle is a guy that threatens your playing time when players ahead of him don’t give 110% on every possession. That’s a good bench guy to have.

Kenrich is the type of player you don’t need minutes for. He’s going to bust arse in practice and push guys. He can play spot minutes if called upon due to whatever.
I just see a guy that looks like he’d be happy to be on an NBA team for 8-10 years and knows his limitations/where he’s gonna have to butter his bread.

I hate to lose Wood, but I think we need Kenny more than we do Wood with how this roster is put together.

Kenny Hustle was one of the bright spots last year that made me tune into games, after the Davis stuff. I loved watching the dude play. He seems to have a nose for loose balls.

I love Kenny Hustle but we have so many good young guys it becomes a numbers game. I hope we can at least keep him in the G league.
