Going to end tactical barbell a week early bc of my vaction starting next thursday
but my toughts on it are it is a great foundational strength program but bc of the volume and frequency do not expect to see massive strength gains because you body has no real time to recovery. This also can impact the conditiong workouts depending on their intensity. Some days I was just totatlly out of gas.
Im sure in a couple weeks after bringing the lifting volume down I will see the actually strenght #s go up and the added power help more more weight in conditioning.
I did notice my power cleans getting better bc I high bar squat and that much squating def help give me the leg drive in my cleans. Which lead lead to more explosiveness in the long run.
I don't see this program as a sustainable long term one. You just get too beat up. Its a good program to run maybe 2 or 3 times a year.
After my vacation ill be going to a modified version Steve Cook modern physique program. Basically cutting out the machines and then doing daily WODs after the strenght portion. I ran the full program a couple years ago and it was great for leg coniditiong and endurance.

I just finished week 3; I'm fricking exhausted.
Totally agree. This is the first real lifting program I've done since breaking my ankle. I definitely feel like I'm back.

Paging burgerman.
You once said that if I had any questions about the police that I could email you. Is that offer still good?
