Resurrecting this thread after finishing issue 180, New World Order 6 of 6.

I'm done. 6 issues of nothing to introduce a Communism vs Capitalism plot? No thanks. The show is trash now, but I was holding out hope for the comics. The Walking Dead is dead to me.

I haven't read since my last post in this thread. I will have to catch back up and see what's going on.

Reviving this thread because I decided to give it another shot after a semi-enjoyable season of the show.

Spoilers for #192 below:

Kirkman killed Rick. No uncertainty about his fate either.

Just read 193 this morning. Wonder how long in the future they skipped. Poor Negan.

Probably about 20 years. Kirkman originally planned to end the series with humanity dead and the zombies the victors. As in real life, the outcome. BUT! He did the smart thing for the readers who had invested so much time and emotion over the years. Kirkman sold out, but who can blame him? Do you realize how hated he would be if he had ended it the way he always envisioned?

I just read the interview about his zombies win ending. That would have been legit and no doubt how it would have ended if not for TV fame.
