My wife loved these. We also enjoyed White Queen. I think it’s was on Starz. Spanish Princess is in the DVR.
Yeah, I’ve watched all of the STARZ produced series on the books. It’s what finally prompted me to pick them up. They never got deep into the one I’m currently reading but I wish they had. It’s solid.

Excellent choice.
Yes it is. Started The Confessor yesterday morning and finished around 5:00. Had a light dinner and started A Death in Vienna.
ETA: I love that I can walk to Latter in 2 minutes.

How convenient for you! I love that library. Nix is okay but that building on St. Charles is so beautiful. Read The English Girl.

I will for sure. Trying to read them in order, but I'm not beholden to that premise. The building is awesome.

Over half way through Shelby Foote’s first volume of the Civil War. Hope to finish it this month and start volume 2 soon after.

Recently started Hunting Eichmann and am immensely enjoying it this far.
It is the story of a Nazi officer in charge of exterminating Jews in Hungary, his escape from the allies, the hunt and eventual capture of him 20 something years later. Very interesting read so far and very fast paced

I’ve heard enough good things, so I’m taking the plunge. Started reading Stormlight Archive book 1, The Way of Kings - Brandon Sanderson.

Herodotus. Finished up book 6 of 9. Have also started Alas, Babylon. Am hoping it'll be as good as Cantacle for Leibowitz
