I like that lineup, cwill.
From this group we have, I would put Nick Lima at left back position (he can play either side, and that’s where he usually plays for San Jose). But I have a suspicion Berhalter will play Tim Ream there.
Won’t be surprised if he abandons the hybrid right back/midfielder idea completely with Adams out. It’s specifically intended for him, so not much point using it now.

I do. I know we have looked shitty the last two games, but Pulisic alone makes a lot better. A full squad strength 11 out of those 23 should have us cruise to the finals.
Now Berhalter might try to play Omar Gonzalez as a hybrid CB/CF so who knows, but on talent alone we should make it easy.

2009 team was definitely worse than this one. We sent a B/C team of low-level MLS guys because our A team was in the Confederations Cup. They got slaughtered by Mexico in the final.

I think the 2017 roster was pretty terrible. We started the final with Zusi at RB, Besler at CB, and has Dax McCarty as a sub come on.
