service dog A former employee of LSU Vet Hospital and now a service dog trainer needs help with her own retired service dog. The owner has volunteered countless hours of pro bono training and service to others, volunteers for animal needs throughout the gulf states area. She is truly a volunteer and giving person and needs our help. Please consider assisting her in her time of need. Money may be given directly to LSU or through paypal

No link but if she is that generous, why doesn't LSU do the damn surgery gratis?

Dang! Vets are getting worse than Doctors. I don't think it cost $7,000 when my wife had her gallbladder out

there is surgery, then they now charge for ICU, a vets bill now looks like a bill from Our Lady of Lake, they detail every single thing.

Try going to one of the after hour vets-it is like the ER at the hospital with similar pricing.

Update - the surgery went well, and please considering donating to help defray medical bills.

$7,000.00? Dam. glad for the dog she had the surgery and the dog better be glad he’s not mine. Gotta have to say good bye to any dog sooner or later, I just as soon it be before 7k- especially considering this one is a retired service dog so I assume that day is near anyway, no?

dog is retired from active service but is now used to train new dogs.

A service dog can easily be an investment near $20K with training, service time etc

LSU vet school is a bunch of crooks. They want 2-3x's as much $ as a good vet to let students experiment with your pet.
