If you don’t have natural gas already plumbed into your house, I think it would be a no brainer to go with a heat pump, as opposed to a split HVAC system, with natural gas furnace, when it comes time to replace your system.

I have a 2300 sq ft house and have a three ton. It's all in the build and insulation.

Agree 100%. Problem here is home builders do not take the extra time to seal up a house.
