Yup. And the ones that scream out songs they want to hear. I’ve been to countless concerts and only once did I witness a band play a song based off of fans calling out songs.

Went to a Rod Stewart concert about 15 years ago. I don't know how anyone could hear what he was singing with all of the screaming.
Took my girls to a Jessie Mccartney concert the same year. teen girls screaming is on another level altogether.

This is now rampant at every show I go to. It's insane the number of people who pay good money to go to concerts only to sit and talk during them. I don't know if I've just become aware of it recently or if it's gotten worse but I feel like it wasn't as big an issue 3-4 years ago.

I'm just annoyed at the idiots screaming out the lyrics to every song and drowning out the music that I paid to hear.

Amen! Why would you pay $50 or more to go to a concert and not listen to what you paid for? Probably 10 years ago I went to a Crowded House show and these two girls in front of us never shut up the entire time.

I feel like the conversations are rampant at the TX country shows my wife likes to go to. It amazes me how many people just straight up have their back to the stage and are in the middle of a conversation.
Then they wait for the cheap "pop" when the guy on stage says the name of the city they are in, only then do they turn around, hold up their beer, and let out the banshee scream. haha
If you wanted mood music, and beer, there are cheaper ways to do it...

First time I noticed this was Alabama Shakes at the Sugar Mill in New Orleans a few years ago. It’s like they were hanging in a club, standing in groups, and just shooting the shite while not even looking at the stage.
At Chris Stapleton in Bossier, you could barely hear him on a slow number over the steady roar of half the crowd chatting away. It was crazy.
Gambit had an article about talking in concerts, and there were many comments agreeing and saying it has become ridiculous in recent years.

One of my biggest pet peeves at a concert, especially during a slow or acoustic song, is when the crowd decides to start applauding after the artist has begun the song because THEY FREAKIN' RECOGNIZE THE SONG!!! 
The artists often mumble something like "thank you, thank you" but what they really want to say is shut the eff up.
Just be quiet til the damn song is over!!!!

I went to a Type O Negative concert at HOB in NOLA and we are standing right near the front of the stage. This chick in front of us tells everyone she is going to pass out and they will bring her to Peter Steele, he will touch her, and she come back. I told her she was the dumbest person on the planet. She insisted that she would be touched by him.
Concert starts, she faints, I yell for the bouncer and he takes her out of the place. Dumb bitch missed the entire show.
Moral of the story is women are stupid.
